Therapy Buddies
The ChildSafe Center – CAC utilizes evidenced based therapy models. Because our treatment models include the non-offending caretaker the ChildSafe Center – CAC is seeking adult volunteers to interact with children while the caregiver meets with the child’s therapist. Through play, a therapy buddy helps the child rebuild faith in adults as a safe resource.
Program Support
The ChildSafe Center – CAC is seeking adult volunteers with computer skills to assist in entering information into the program’s case tracking database. The qualified individual will handle confidential information and will need to be able to handle reading information related to the details of alleged child abuse. Data entry will be done at the ChildSafe Center – CAC. Time commitment of at least 2 hours per volunteer day is needed, but no requirements for number of days volunteered.
Toy Specialist
The ChildSafe Center – CAC is seeking volunteers to visit the center to periodically clean and organize the toys in the playroom and therapy room. This is the perfect opportunity for family volunteering, or a child volunteer.
Special Events
Helping with tasks associated with event; soliciting businesses for donations or sponsorships; stuffing envelopes; helping the day of the event; donating services or skills to help with event planning.

The ChildSafe Center – CAC conducts criminal background checks on all adult volunteers. To ensure the safety of those we serve, volunteers with a history of a violent crime, or a crime against a child cannot be placed.
