
John Lamana – President
Dr. John Lamanna worked at Timber Ridge School for 45 years, from 1976 – 2021, as a Residential Counselor, Residential Director, Facility Director, Chief Operations Officer, and retired as, Executive Director.
He achieved a Doctorate degree from Virginia Tech and a Masters and Bachelor degree from St. Bonaventure University. He also holds an advanced degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a clinical license as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
John served on the Board of VAISEF for 20 years as Chair of the Accreditation Committee and as Board Chair.
Dr. Lamanna is active on several community Boards. He is past chairman of the Frederick County School Board, has served on the School Board as a member from 2002 to 2019 and currently serves on the Bright Futures Advisory Board.
He serves as chair of Substance Abuse Services Subcommittee of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Abuse Coalition, member of the Northern Shenandoah Valley Nonprofit Alliance Advisory Board, past chair of the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, current Treasurer of the Winchester Rotary Club. He is the former chairman and past board member for the Mountain Vista Governor’s School Board and current chair of the Child Advocacy Center board and the Frederick County Department of Social Services Board.
John lives in Frederick County with his wife, Annie, and has two grown children and three grandchildren.

Les Veach – Vice President
Les Veach is a dedicated community leader, small business owner, and public servant. He has operated his State Farm Insurance Agency since 1991 and currently serves as the Mayor of Winchester. A Carnegie Mellon University graduate with degrees in Chemical and Civil Engineering, Les has been actively involved in local government since his election to the Common Council in 2008.
Beyond his public service, Les is deeply engaged in the community, serving on the Winchester Rescue Mission Board, Child Advocacy Center Board, and Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter Board. He has been the Apple Club Chair for the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival since 2009 and is an active Kiwanis and Rotary Club member. He also participates in the Healing Field of Honor and Veterans Banner programs.
Les and his wife, Sabra, live in Ward 1, where he remains committed to serving and strengthening the Winchester community.

Jody Wall – Secretary
Jody is retired from the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber and has filled her time with several civic activities such as serving as secretary on the board of the Child Safe Center-CAC, Membership Committee Chair of the Kiwanis Club of Winchester, secretary of the board of the Kiwanis Club of Winchester Foundation, and member of the Parish Life Committee, Outreach Committee, Altar Guild member and Coffee Hour Coordinator at Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester. Jody is also a member of the Century Club in Winchester. She has one daughter Katlyn Painter and a three-year-old grandson Eli whom she sits for as much as possible! Jody enjoys gardening, walking and traveling with her husband Dan in her free time.

Sierra Collins – Treasurer
Sierra Collins is the Founder and Chief Growth Officer of Sierra Learnership Collaborative, where she helps individuals and organizations develop strong, effective leadership through customized coaching and training. With a Master’s in Education and over a decade of experience as an educator, she is passionate about lifelong learning and leadership development.
Sierra is deeply committed to supporting youth and strengthening communities. She has served on the Board of the ChildSafe Center since 2021 and strongly believes in its mission to protect and advocate for children. She also volunteers with Camp Ezri, a wilderness adventure camp for at-risk youth, and plays an active role in mentoring emerging leaders through the Arising Leadership Program at the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber.
Originally from the Shenandoah Valley, Sierra now lives in Greencastle, PA, but runs her business out of her office in Winchester, VA, a place she continues to call home. She is an active member of the business and nonprofit communities, working with organizations to foster leadership growth and create lasting impact.

Mandy Luety – Member
Mandy Luety is a seasoned Human Resources leader with over 20 years of experience, primarily in the nonprofit sector. She is passionate about the role nonprofits play in strengthening communities and has dedicated much of her career to supporting their missions. Mandy has been a longtime board member of the Child Advocacy Center, using her expertise to drive meaningful change. She lives in Stephens City with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys camping and making lasting memories with her family.

Carolina Moyer – Member
Carolina Moyer holds a Master of Science in Project Management from George Washington University & an MBA from Shenandoah University. Carolina is a Senior Brokerage Associate with over a decade of expertise in financial services, specializing in strategic client portfolio management and digital transformation initiatives. Proficient in stakeholder management, audits, data analysis, and market intelligence, Carolina sits on the Board of the Child Safe Center in Winchester and is very involved in the community.
Carolina was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and has lived in Virginia since 2005. Carolina, her daughter Audrey, and beloved family pet Rusty enjoy traveling abroad and hiking outdoors.

Lindsay Hoffman – Member
For over twenty-five years, Lindsay has devoted her professional and personal energy toward strengthening families and communities. An attorney by profession, Lindsay began her career as a criminal and child welfare prosecutor and continued on to manage the multi-million-dollar DC Grandparent Caregivers Program. She is now both a Senior Attorney in the Florida Department of Children and Families and the founder of Valley Mediation Services, a Winchester-based dispute resolution firm focusing on family law. Lindsay has worked with the Children’s Advocacy Centers in four jurisdictions and has seen the powerful impact of these important resources. The ChildSafe Center is critical to the Winchester community and Lindsay is proud to support it.

Sharon Farinholt – Member
Sharon Farinholt is an accomplished professional, known for her diverse roles as a best-selling author, award-winning Realtor, and influential podcaster.
Sharon is a REALTOR and has been recognized as a top producer, garnering multiple awards for her outstanding performance and dedication to her clients. Her career in real estate is supported by a rich background in business, including her tenure as the owner of Crown Trophy.
Sharon’s commitment to her community is evident through her extensive service on various boards. She was a board member of the Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitors Bureau from July 2013 to June 2019 and served The Top of Virginia Regional Chamber as Chairman of the Board in 2016. Currently, she is the licensee for TEDxHandleyBlvd Women, bringing inspirational and impactful events to her community.
Married for nearly 40 years to her high school sweetheart as of June 2025, Sharon is a proud mother of seven grown children and many grandchildren. She is an active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and maintains a healthy, balanced lifestyle as an avid runner.

Jay Foreman – Member
Jay Foreman is a John Maxwell-certified leadership trainer with a master’s degree in Executive Leadership. He is also an accomplished public speaker and a professional member of the National Speakers Association. His clients have included business leaders, associations, non-profits, schools, and churches. Jay has authored eighteen books, including three best sellers and works part-time as an adjunct instructor at Laurel Ridge Community College, teaching leadership courses.
